Three Stories We’re Following in May

Happy long weekend!

Here are 3 stories we’re following this month:

  • The Green Line covered he Youth Resiliency Hub’s launch at Strides Toronto last week. Thanks to all who came out! We hope you check out the Hub.
  • Advocacy continues on the online harms bill & how it affects children. Canada First & their allies were in Ottawa in late April, calling for change.
  • The Canadian Supreme Court rules that intimate partner violence (IPV) can be a basis for lawsuits. This is an important children’s rights issue because evidence shows that IPV often also involves violence against children. Safety for children involves safety for their parents. Feminist advocacy groups have led the charge on this one, creating a pathway to safer homes.
